NORIE (Regional Licenced Guide-Interpreter)

My name is Norie Goto, and I am a housewife. I had lived in Hiroshima city for more than 10 years and after that, on April in 2015 I moved to Masuda city . I live with my daughter and my husband. My hobbies are traveling, outdoor activities, shopping, reading, looking around for good cafes. I like to make tings by myself so I make traditional Japaneses healthy food, such as Miso and Umebosi and Tofu. If you want, I can make those foods with you!  Masuda has a lot of histrical and cultural spots and you can enjoy the beautiful senery of nature and a huge variety of activities.

Tsuwano Horseback Archery on April 10th, 2016




Tsuwano Horseback Archery will be held on April 10th (SUN)

 Horseback archery is held on the second Sunday in April every year.
Only Tsuwano Horseback Archery field preserves original form of hundreds year ago.

You can see the ritual ceremony, which has been passed down in Ogasawara School from generation to generation, at Washibara Hachiman Shrine. Ogasawara School or Ogasawara-ryu specializes Samurai class's manner includes mounted archery.
 

It starts at  11:00 ~ and  14:00 ~ at Washibara Hachiman Shrine.

There are parking area at Nagomino-sato Roadside Station.
 You can park your car in the downtown and ride a shuttle bus to Yabusame field.

Traditional Hina dolls on Display at Saranoki Shointei

Shop Saranoki exhibits various kinds of traditional Hina dolls which you can see only this period.

We will appreciate if you visit the exhibition and see various kinds of doll such as the one handed down from the end of Edo period and paper dolls.
